Pido loves Gilda too much that no amount of the latter coming back heavy with a child each time she gets back from various overseas sojourns could sway Pido's love for her. No matter that he later realizes that none of the children resembles him nor his wife. The absurd scheme of things come to a head when Pido finally puts his foot down on the matter.
