Spunky and adventureous, Raida heads off to Manila for two reasons: to visit her godmother and to meet her pen-pal, Ariel. But strange things happen on her way.
 
In two separate instances she meets Carlo, an enigmatic young man whose murder Raida helps to solve. And the suicidal Danny whom she saves from falling off a ravine.
 
After the eventful trip, she looked for Ariel. But Ariel is not prepared to meet her so he asked his cousin to act as him. Unfortunately, Bobby falls for Raida.
