They are all stage players but in real life Okoy (Dolphy) and Estella (Gina Pareno) became husband and wife and Chuchay (Princess) their talented daughter was born.
However Estella flirted with Rico (Raul Aragon) for a better life leaving Chuchay to Vivian (Lotis Key) who raised her like her own child.
When Chuchay became a superstar Estella sought custody of the child not only for being the real mother but also for other ulterior motives.
The succeeding story ended tragically when Estella and Rico killed each other during a fight bringing the child back to Okoy and Vivian for a happy reunion.
