Vera's (Angel Aquino) desperate bid to clinch a deal that will save her company begins to look hopeful when Gelai's (Bea Alonzo) persistence sways Louie (Derek Ramsay) to fight ---a triumph that gets marred by Victoria's (Gretchen Barretto) unwelcome presence in the event.
But while Victoria succeeds in hindering Vera Couture's only salvation, she is also not spared from sufferring her own heartbreak, having no choice but to refuse Louie's marriage proposal for her pursuit of revenge.
Meanwhile, Victoria's rejection ironically brings Gelai even to closer Louie, who finally decides to move on with his life and turn his attention on her instead.
