Ira is young, beautiful and most of all, ambitious. Determined to succeed, she left her remote hometown for the big city to realize her dream of becoming rich. There, she was disheartened when she learned that she had been sold to a club owner to work as a bold dancer.
 
But her persistence to rise from poverty prompted her to make the most of her new career. Later, she met her knight in shining armor, Fernando San Jose, a rich plantation owner vowed to get her out of her miserable workplace. But in the end, her new found haven turned out to be a nightmare she never imagined.
