However, before Xander and Agnes could figure things out between them, Xander's parents decide to cut short his occupation at La Presa.

Much to Bettina's dismay, Xander invites the farmers to the Grande Hotel Christmas party. But then to her delight, Kate suddenly shows up.
Though feeling guilty for abandoning Kate during their mock wedding ceremony a few years ago, Xander stays by Agnes's side - a gesture that makes Kate realize that her old flame has found new love.
