Benito is a simple man who is bored with his life as a hardware helper.
He starts to wander and spots a cheap nightclub where he sees Charisse, a stripper. Benito immediately falls in love with Charisse.
The next night he surprises her with a gift. But Bunny the pimp in the club taunts him.
This infuriates Benito and a fight ensues between them. Charisse stopped them and the two ran away.
Unknown to Benito, Charisse took Bunny's bag which contained a large sum of money.
Soon, the syndicate goes after them and their boring lives were never the same again.
